The Role

The full-time YouTube Channel Manager will be responsible for envisioning and executing a strategy that maintains the company’s position as the number one karaoke destination on YouTube, delivering world-class content to singers across the globe.

This role is ideal for an experienced YouTube Channel Manager with the expertise to combine data analytics, emerging trends, and creative intuition to drive channel growth and content performance. Working collaboratively with the Growth, Content Production, and Community teams, the Channel Manager will play a key role in a high-growth environment, managing content research and planning while partnering with stakeholders to maximize the impact and potential of the company’s YouTube channel.

The YouTube Channel Manager will bring:

  • YouTube Expertise – A strong background in managing and growing successful YouTube channels, with in-depth knowledge of YouTube Studio and analytics tools such as Tubular Labs. They will remain highly attuned to the YouTube ecosystem, proactively keeping up with new features, trends, and formats.
  • Fluency with Data – Proficiency in YouTube Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualisation platforms such as Looker and Tableau. They will also have the ability to work with basic SQL and query platform data from multiple sources. Experience with cloud platforms is considered an advantage.
  • Creative and Technical Skills – Competence in basic image, copywriting, and video editing tasks, using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to create titles, thumbnails, descriptions, metadata, and community posts.
  • Project Management and Communication – Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, while effectively communicating with stakeholders, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Passion – A genuine enthusiasm for karaoke, music, and the broader digital entertainment ecosystem.
