The Role

Reporting to Group Finance leadership, the role supports the Senior Business Analyst in delivering finance system enhancements and process improvements across billing, operations, and receivables. It requires strong communication, planning, and a hands-on approach aligned with the firm’s entrepreneurial culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivers expert support for NavOne Finance, built on Dynamics 365 BC, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Participates in the design, testing, and rollout of system enhancements and emerging finance technologies to drive operational efficiency and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Supports the refinement of time recording, billing, and accounts receivable processes, including invoice automation and reminder workflows.
  • Contributes to various finance projects, focusing on process optimization and system integration.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements, document workflows, and assist in the execution of finance-related initiatives.
  • Aids in the standardization of finance processes across offices to ensure consistency and adoption of best practices.
  • Provides training and ongoing support to finance users, promoting effective system usage and accurate financial data.
  • Acts as a key liaison between the finance department and other business units, ensuring cohesive financial operations and system alignment.
  • Maintains awareness of updates and enhancements within Dynamics 365 and NavOne, recommending improvements where applicable.

Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) within a Shared Services Centre (SSC) or BPO environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Word, and finance platforms such as Workday, Adaptive, and Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Navision).
  • Background in the financial services sector, ideally with exposure to asset management and/or fiduciary services.
  • Skilled in communicating across all organizational levels and in conveying technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: qualified member of a recognized accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA).
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
