The Role
The Business Systems Administrator supports the company’s business applications, ensuring systems remain reliable, functional, and secure. As part of the Business Systems team, the role focuses on protecting the production environment, optimising technology, and maximising value through training and support. Responsibilities include service desk support, user training, vendor liaison, and troubleshooting.
In addition, the administrator contributes to business change initiatives and technology projects by scoping requirements, designing solutions, and assisting with implementation and deployment. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, documentation of requirements, and support for new systems and technologies. It combines technical problem-solving with continuous learning and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for the company’s core applications.
Deliver excellent customer service across multiple offices and jurisdictions.
Enhance efficiency by identifying improvements and implementing changes.
Share knowledge and advice to strengthen collective technical capability and promote an inclusive culture.
Document new services, processes, and resolutions with a future-focused approach.
Ensure training requirements are met for all applications and technologies.
Support multiple projects as required.
Experience:
Strong ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central), with NavOne experience considered an advantage.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
General accounting knowledge is beneficial.
Experience in supporting accounting-based applications.
Proficient in the effective use of service desk applications.
Understanding of change management processes.
Base Requirement:
University educated or holding IT-related qualifications.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience working with and managing personnel across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in busy environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-IT staff at all levels, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritise tickets and work within SLAs.
