A leading SaaS team is looking to hire a high-performing Account Executive with strong experience in software and B2B sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment, where they can make a significant impact while helping shape and refine the sales strategy.
This role will focus on driving growth within the materials and chemicals sector, building on an established track record and accelerating scale.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategy to identify and close new business opportunities
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
Deliver compelling pitches and product demos to C-level executives and VPs, both virtually and in person
Prepare tailored proposals and lead complex negotiations
Utilise sales tools including Salesforce (SFDC), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach
Attend industry conferences nationwide to understand customer needs and build relationships from technical users to executive decision-makers
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience selling into enterprise-level organisations
Strong track record of prospecting and building a self-generated pipeline
Proven ability to develop internal champions and manage multiple stakeholders throughout complex sales cycles
Naturally curious, with the confidence to engage a wide range of technical stakeholders across diverse customer applications
Willingness to travel 25–50% as required
Flexibility to accommodate early morning calls with East Coast and European clients (e.g., 7am PST)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment
Background or knowledge in chemistry, materials science, or biology preferred
