This is a vastly expanding SaaS company that provides APIs. Having secured a series of investments, they are now looking for someone to join their expanding content team.
What will the role entail?
The Content Marketing Manager will be required to work with a team on growing the company using SEO, Social Media, and Content Distribution. The role will entail editing content written by external as well as internal authors to ensure they are SEO-focused.
Organic social activities will be focused on getting information across by creating posts, managing calendars, and engaging with the audience.
This role is collaborative with many areas of the company as the Content Marketing Manager will have to liaise with the Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and the Marketing team.

● Research, create, write, edit, and update content assets across our various content streams. You’ll work on blog posts, case studies, ads copy, landing pages, etc.● Work closely with DevRel, Engineering, and external contributors (freelancers and agencies) to create high-quality content that is optimized for SEO and conversions● You will be the voice of the company in social media by crafting great social media posts that drive traffic, generate engagement, and build community with developers and engineers● Own the publication and distribution process. You will share content in the appropriate communities, pitch it to newsletters and publications, and get other companies and blogs to link to it● Independently determine new topics we could write about as well as opportunities to repurpose existing content, based on research and SEO best practices● Analyze key metrics of content marketing and suggest improvements to increase engagement and conversions● Participate in forming and executing the content strategy at the company Experience
Required● Significant proven experience in Content Marketing● Understanding of developers, software architects, developer ecosystems, how they buy, consume and develop products, and can use that knowledge to create compelling and engaging content● You’re a “full-stack” content marketer––in addition to creating content, you also understand how to strategize and plan an editorial calendar as well as coordinate its distribution and measure results● Continuous learner mindset, self-starter, and comfortable working with complex technical concepts● Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities & comfortable working on multiple projects at once● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred● Any development experience (past or present) and the ability to read code● Knowledge of cloud computing, serverless, event-driven architectures & technologies, pub/sub, distributed systems, real-time protocols such as WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, or MQTT● Experience coordinating/working with external freelancers and content agencies. What’s in it for you?
